PARTNERSHIP

simpleshow Foundation & Wikipedia

The main focus of our cooperation with different Wikimedia projects is enriching Wikipedia with explainer videos that make the content more accessible to everyone. There are 3 main areas of cooperation with Wikipedia:
1. We produce explainer videos which provide quick and simple access to any topic and can be integrated into Wikipedia articles. All of the content produced by simpleshow foundation has Creative Commons licensing (CC BY-SA 4.0) and is freely available for everyone on "Wikimedia Commons".
2. We take part in Wikipedia conferences and discussions around open knowledge and run free workshops for Wikipedians on topics such as video creation, storytelling etc. To learn more about the workshops please visit the project page of our last workshop at the "Wikimania 2016"
3. We provide Wikipedians with a simple to use online tool, mysimpleshow, in an attempt to promote high-quality video content in Wikipedia articles. For more information please visit the project page "Wiki Loves Explainer Videos".
