simpleshow foundation collaborates with Zeppelin University
Last year Dr. Martin R. Herbers from Zeppelin University approached us to give a workshop during his course “Explainer Videos”. And now, we want to share our experience with you.
Altogether our workshop consisted of three sessions. We started with theoretical foundations and the rules of easy explanations. Then the students started to work on their own explainer videos and during our second session we took a closer look at their results, gave feedback and helped them to make their concepts even better. In the final session the students presented their results and we watched incredible explainer videos.
The videos varied in their topics. There was a video about movie production, electric cars and e-mobility and fair trade fashion. A group of five students created a video about organic products and put it into a love story. The video turned out great and is a good example of all the possibilities you’ve got while using our tool mysimpleshow.
Dr. Martin R. Herbers knows about the importance of explainer videos and said about our collaboration:
“Explainer videos convey information about important topics quickly and entertainingly. That makes them indispensable for education today. In a seminar about explainer videos at Zeppelin University, my students learned how to create them competently and professionally. Thanks to the tools of mysimpleshow, it wasn’t complicated for the students to turn their ideas into their very own films. Ilya Kompasov from simpleshow foundation assisted us in person with great dedication. For the students and for myself as the lecturer, it was a thrilling seminar with amazing results!”
We’re glad that our tool and our workshops are able to allow students to create incredible explainer videos that help to explain the world. We look forward to working together in the future and hope that some of the students might even enjoy creating videos with mysimpleshow during their free time.
