Can I use the videos for other campaigns?
Yes, you’re free to use all of our videos (not only created by yourself) for any other purpose under the terms of the Creative Commons license (CC BY-SA 4.0)
When and how do I get my Volunteering Certificate?
After you’ve created and submitted your videos for dissemination on our channels, just drop us an e-mail with the following information: How many videos you’ve created and what topics they are on, and how much time you’ve spent creating them. Please remember: In order to create a high-quality video, you’ll need at least 2 hours, including research, writing, and visualizing the script. The maximum hours that can be provided for one video is 3. We check the information asap and send your certificate per e-mail within 3 business days.
Can I get credit for volunteering from my University? Are you collaborating with any Universities?
We are currently establishing possibilities with schools and universities in order to collaborate with students and educators to provide volunteering hour credits for graduation requirements.

Yes, we would love to collaborate! We are currently working on establishing partnership opportunities with schools and universities and will set up a collaboration program soon. Feel free to contact us for more information about this.

Donating your videos to our current campaign is a great way to contribute. If you go to our homepage and check out our campaign, you’ll be able to send us your videos after creating them on our video creation tool, mysimpleshow.
What is my money donation used for?
Your donation enables us to run more education programs. By supporting our organization, you can provide more students with opportunities to spread their knowledge into a global network of free information.
Are monetary donations tax deductible?
simpleshow foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity established in the United States, and, for that reason, donations from persons or entities located in the United States may benefit from tax deductible status.
Topic selection
Which topics can I write about?
You can choose a topic from the list on the simpleshow foundation website/campaign page. You’re also free to suggest your own topic within the general theme of the campaign, e.g. “Good Health & Wellbeing”, if you find that what you want to explain is not on the list.

How long does it take until my topic suggestions are accepted?
We try to give you an answer as soon as possible. Usually, we’re able to approve the topic suggestion within 1 day.
Are you planning on adding other campaign topics?
Yes, we’ll change our campaign topics every 3-4 months.
Video creation and editing
I found a video that contains mistakes. How do I report videos?
Feel free to drop us an e-mail describing the mistake. If it’s a single fact, we would be able to contact the author of the video and ask them to edit it. If you find there are many issues, you’re free to create your own video on the same topic and submit it to us.”
How do I edit existing videos?
As of now, the videos can only be edited by the author. If you wish to share an updated version of your video, please send us an email.
Can I use my own images while creating the videos?
Yes, you’re free to use your own images while creating the video. We recommend using png files. Please respect copyright law and only use images owned by yourself or that are licensed for third party usage. Remember that the video will be published under the free license (CC BY-SA 4.0). This means that all of the content, including your images, can be freely used by anyone under the following terms: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/. Please provide the sources used in the description text to your video in our video creation tool, mysimpleshow.

Educational Programs
Can I take part in one of your educational programs?
We run our educational programs in cooperation with partners: universities, schools and other non-profits or communities. If you are interested in a workshop or cooperation and are not working for one of the above, please have your contact person (e.g. professor, teacher, organizer, etc.) get in touch with us.
Who are the programs for?
Our program mostly aims at students.
Are there any fees for taking part?
All of our programs and workshops are free for participants.
Can I use your webinar / workshop materials for my classes?
Yes, you are welcome to use the content from our workshops / webinars wherever you want, according to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
General Information
What happens with my videos when they are done?
First of all, don’t forget to “donate” your video to simpleshow foundation. You will find the button “donate your video to simpleshow foundation” in the Finalize Stage in mysimpleshow. As soon as we get your video, our expert team will check the content of the video and approve / disapprove it for use on our channels.
